More on IndependentPrimary.com

Yesterday I posted a piece about IndependentPrimary.com, an effort by political activists to enable independent voters---who are often shut out of the taxpayer-supported primary process---to have a say in the presidential primaries. I just learned that voting closes on December 18, so if you want to make sure your voice is heard, you'll have to vote soon.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Do you think an effort of this type will be effective, and if so, how will it be effective?

Any effort is superior to no effort.

If we lay down and do nothing, the plutocracy will bulldoze the majority of US citizens and roll right over them. We will be squashed.

Everybody, and I mean EVERYBODY, whether you are 18 or 115, needs to play their part or suffer the consequences.

Donate to your preferred candidates. Do not worry whether they are an underdog. If enough people donate enough, the underdog will no longer be an underdog.

Your weapon against corporate money that goes to the corporations' favorites candidates is your money.

You have to use your money in the form of a donation just like the corporations use their money as a weapon to defeat the spirit of the US Constitution and subvert the the US election process to their own profitable advantage.

Donate and vote. These two actions go hand-in- hand.

Your donation can be $1 or $2300 or anything in between. You do not have to be rich to donate. Every single dollar matters.

Go to your favorite candidates' website and make a secure donation with your credit card or a check. It takes less than 10 minutes.

It will make you feel good. It will make you feel American.
